Paper fashions

Today my sister-in-law shared a link from the scrapping retailer Die Cuts with a View.  I have to share some of the pictures of dresses created entirely from paper.  I marvel at the creativity that exists out there.  Check out these cuties:

This is my favorite one.  I happen to love the empire-waist style and most of my dresses are like that.  The paper flower is GORGEOUS and I love the beautiful filigree style leaves.  I don't love butterflies (only in nature) but I think they look super cute on this paper creation.

This dress has so much style.  A shiny flapper-esque creation with shimmer paper.  I love the image on the right with the complete flapper getup, pearls and feather boa to boot.  Not to mention that purple and pewter look great together.  High fashion paper indeed.

This one is super sweet and I can see it on a little girl.  Very feminine and lacy.
There are many more of these dresses created for this past CHA.  Do your own google search and you'll be amazed at what these people can make.

I wasn't done yet, I had to keep googling and then I came across ANOTHER amazing paper fashion designer.  Her name is Isabelle de Borchgrave.  I will show you just 2 of the amazing pictures I came across and I urge you to go visit her website (click on her italicized name).  She has many galleries of paper creations from dresses to shoes to vases.  This one took my breath away:

If I could get married again, I wouldn't mind walking down in something as fabulous as this!

Hope your week is treating you SWEET!

  8. I'm glad so many of you enjoyed the post! @ Kim, thanks for the shout-out on your blog! @ Julie, I used an etsy shop called "DGarden" to design my logo and badges. She was great to work with and she really takes all of your ideas/wants into consideration. She did the graphics and I put my blog together. Glad you like it! @crafter1953, the dresses are all full-sized which makes it al the more amazing!
