You give me butterflies

There's nothing as wonderful as that "butterflies in your stomach" feeling that you get when you're in sweet new love.  It's one of the things we have to work on maintaining as a relationship ages.  I'm very fortunate to have a thoughtful, considerate and super sweet hubby that facilitates the "butterfly" feelings.  He brings me roses just because, he makes me tea at night and he is super understanding of my condition. I know that not all women are so fortunate.  So, as an ode to my hubby and to all the other people out there who still get butterflies when they look at their honeys I created this card:

Available here

Cute, right? Funny thing is I'm not a butterfly kind of girl but I think everything is better with googly eyes.  LOL!  I used graduated papers to give the wings the look of two colors.

And, speaking of creatures, I'd like to share a few pics of our trip to Central Park Zoo the other day.  I love that zoo.  You know why?  Because it's small and it's smack in the middle of this huge city.  It can be seen in less than two hours, it's super kid friendly AND you can go hang out in the park after.

I'm slowly but surely working on Quilling 102 and hope to have it up soon.  Enjoy the rest of your week! Stay SWEET!

  2. Cute card! Last time I went to Central Park it was 100 degrees. I would find it refreshing to go this time of year; glad you had the chance. It really is a treat to have so much open space smack in the middle of the city.
