This has it's good sides and it's bad sides. For example, today I spent all afternoon cleaning my house. Mopping, sweeping, dusting, wiping walls and after all of that work...it totally looks the same. Some days I wonder if I was a messy person then I'd feel much more accomplished after cleaning. But, I just can't do it. Well, except for here in the Sweet Spot Studio.
Eesh, this place is a disaster. (Albeit, a clean one.) No matter how many ideas I think I have on how to keep my paper strips neat it just doesn't work. Part of me kind of likes having the huge pile on my work desk looking at me begging to be twisted and made into pretty things. I currently have 5 quilling projects in the works and I'm excited to bring them to fruition. 3 of them will be letters, which I have never done. But I'm totally inspired by the huge variety available as inspiration on the interwebs. Let's hope it all happens soon. You can never really plan too much because (in my case) life always has other plans.

Wow! your desk looks neater compared to mine! I have TWO table full of stuff and I am sloooowwwwlyyy get to them....lol! Letters....hmmmm...I'm getting ideas.....lol! I can't wait to see what you come up w/ for my belated anniversary card...... ;)
ReplyDeleteI'll admit, I keep my quilling papers in a large ziplock bag! I try to keep them neat, but it doesn't last long.

ReplyDeleteI keep my strips in zip lock bags to, and then all of them are in a plastic ben so I can transport them to any room, but my crafts desk always seems to collect all kinds of stuff,lol
