Saying "I Do"

Yup, still have wedding on the brain.  I just perused some awesome wedding photos of a fellow Blogger.  It was her civil ceremony but I loved how simple and tasteful it was.  Hubby and I always talk about what type of wedding we'd have if we were to get married now.  Well, VERY different than the one we did have.  First of all, no poofy dress and no bridesmaids (no offense to my girls - you know I love you).  It'd be a lot less people (we had over 140).  And it'd be all about me and him.  Just a lot calmer than what we did 13 years ago.  But, we were really young (SO, SO young).  And you learn as you live.

I still love weddings (even the poofy ones).  I don't think that ever leaves you.  It's engrained in us since we're tiny girls - hello, Barbie!  I had SO many Barbies.  And some of them had designer wedding dresses.  Yup, one had an Oscar de la Renta gown.  Crazy, huh?  It's no wonder I was barely out of puberty when I got hitched.  But, I'm thankful I got a great partner to share my life with.  I'd say "I do" all over again.  Especially since his proposal was so romantic and thoughtful.
