(Paper) Love at first sight.

Just saw this on etsy and was instantly smitten:

XO, Etsy from Etsy on Vimeo.

Most people never realize how much time paper crafts take to create. I think this is a great example.

I don't care about a holiday. I care about love each and every day and making people feel special on any and every day. I wish more people felt the same.

I was asked to make a card for a nanny on behalf of the little boy she takes care of. A dozen roses to thank her for loving him and taking care of him and making him feel special. Kind of reminded me of "The Help". The last few minutes of that movie had me balling.

If you haven't seen it yet, grab a box of tissue and cuddle up on your sofa. It's a really good movie!

Here's the card:

I had a really hard time making these roses for some reason. But, sometimes imperfection is beautiful. I like having a box instead of a regular envelope. Makes it feel more special, right?

Happy Monday to you all. I'm quite achy today so my quick paper love share is all I've got.

Here's to hoping tomorrow will be much, much SWEETER!

  4. You are soooo right Sandy....just because we work with paper doesn't mean it is easier or has less value. The people who 'get it' are life long customers.

Love your roses and all their imperfections {can't really see any but I know what you mean} and the box is perfect....just like they are real roses.

happy ♥ day and hope tomorrow is better for you
