Wednesdays Wrock

You like how I made up my own word?  I do that a lot.  Still working on my DIY project.  I am very excited about its cuteness level.  The weather here has been so amazingly mild.  It's was in the 50's today and yesterday.  I went out for brunch with a cardi-coat and not my super puffy winter coat...in the end of January people!  I LOVE it!  I think mother nature is making nice after the past few years of horrible weather here in NYC.

Also, have you quillers checked out the new NAQG Newsletter ? Did you see how the "sweet leaves" blog hop got mentioned in there (Page 17)? ;)  Woot Woot!  I'm hope it brings traffic to all of the blogs that participated.  It was awesome and I look forward to doing another one soon.

Lots of you have e-mailed me or asked about the blog hops.  I love to do them but it is really time consuming.  So, I will be sure that when I plan another one I will let you all know through the Facebook groups.  Any ideas on new themes would be fabulous!

Another thing is that this years Quilling Guild conference is in PA.  That's really close to me.  So, I'm wondering how many of you are going to attend.  The dates are May 4th & 5th, 2012.  I want to go, but even if I don't I'm thinking I'll make my first-ever submission.  I'm trying really hard to branch out and continue to challenge myself.
