Anyway, I submitted some of my items to Poppytalk, a curated online marketplace. I was sure I wouldn't get chosen but I was prepared to use it as fodder to keep trying to improve my product and photos. It was a sudden decision that I am pleased to say has turned out well. My submission got accepted and today Sweet Spot is featured in their new "Indie Love" lookbook as well as on Poppytalk Handmade Marketplace...AWESOME!
I've always had issues with self esteem. I have yet to do a craft show because I fear rejection. And I have yet to approach a storefront to carry my cards because of the same. So, this is my baby step toward self confidence. I've read everywhere that it's important that you believe in yourself so others can believe in you. Oy, gotta work on that!
Without further ado, here is the lookbook. Flip through the awesomely inspiring pages and see if you can find The Sweet Spot.
you'll do great!!, I also have to work on believing in myself to, its hard, but we can di it!!!

Congratulations! There are few other deserving artists I recognized in there. What a fabulous collection. I've never acutally heard of Poppytalk before, so thanks for the introduction.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I am very happy for you! The camera project is a lovely one and I am glad it was featured! Believing in myself is hardest part for me, too, but working on it:)
